Choosing a colour scheme

So you've decided to paint your house, you've hired your local painter & decorator . You now need to decide on the colour or schemes, decisions decisions....

Consider the following points.

Does my colour or scheme suit the room in question.

Is there enough light, will the colour make the room to dark, to light.

Will my furniture or furnishings blend in, or will i have to purchase new.

Does the rest of the household like my choices or will I be changing it in the not too distant future.

There are many paint and wallpaper manufacturers on the market, they will all offer some sort of colour card, if your home is a period home I strongly suggest seeking out a farrow and ball colour card there colour schemes are second to none.
